Space Invaders was designed by Tomohiro Nishikado in 1978. It's a classic shooting game.

High scores are reset daily at midnight PST (8AM GMT).
This game is very simple to play, just shoot the aliens! The more aliens you shoot, the faster
the remaining aliens move. It's game over if they get too close.
Use the left arrow key to move left, right arrow key to move right, space-bar to fire the laser, P to
pause the game, M to mute the sound, and Q to quit the game.
